I'm definately down with the old metal gods like Dio, quiet riot n' such, but im more interested in hearing from YOU! Please vote and state your favorite band.
Need more specifics. I dig underground metal as a style; some people are still making it, though its glory days were 1985-1995. I like some of the heavy metal (1970-1979) and speed metal (1983-1988) material though. Metalcore, rap, AOR, etc are ass.
Well almost all old metal is great but most of new quite sucks... I mean all this Metalcore crap... I just dont buy it...
There is a lot of metal out there that is still great. Some of it is new too, just depends on which country and how far underground you are searching....I believe. I think America's metal has turned to shit however and to find much good you need to do a lot of searching. What they call "Nu-Metal" is a disgrace to the metal name I think.
I don't know. I'm very picky about my metal and I do like some old stuff and also some new bands. I think old or new is just not the way to define my taste.
I dig both old and new school so I voted rap is garbage....................NOT all rap of course!. What I really don't like is that silly "plastic-wrapped" garbage called NU-METAL!!
