Something for my fellow Stoners

I finished my exams today and chillin out with some 'mids' as you might say, on a very nice Aussie early-summer day. Right now listening on Winamp radio. I have sort of stopped downloading new music lately, and have just been listenin to the internet radio. Since takin various psychedelics I have a real interest in hearing new music all the time, and this is like a constant feed. So I thought if any of you had not hooked up yet, but have Winamp (or are willin to download it), you should check it out. there is pretty much any sort of music you could want. But here are some suggestions to search for -

My favourite - Technicolour web of sound (you can find it by searching for 'psychedelic')

also Fresh Jam radio is pretty cool

Also, search for Reggae and check out 1.FM Reggae Trade (as well as the other channels)
the ads are sometimes a bit offensive on that station though, depending on how loud you put it lol

Technicolor web of sound is pretty cool. I used to alway have it running on my computer. Good shit.

 

Sometimes I'll use Pandora but I don't like internet radio that much. I don't know, I just feel like there's a lot of bands that will get left out or over looked. And I like the process of reading through blogs, message boards and reviews, finding something that looks cool and acquiring it.

im a led zeppelin cultist. i know every word to every song, have every commercially avaliable album, and several bootleg performance, and video, etc. i have a glass sandblasted portrait on my wall etc.

and i went to pandora and set a led zeppelin channel, they're playing shit like gimme shelter by the stones... don't get me wrong, great badn, but it has no similarities to the zeppelin.. i mean come on...



and yea i love pandora, just has a few moments !!!!!

 

Pandora is pretty broad in their associations. Its still good, though sometimes repetitive.

 

All I got to was summer day... Its going straight to winter here. =(

to be honest im not really sure why i got banned in the first place...

i got ip banned because after my initial 2-3 account bans i fucked with skip too much I guess

Stoner Bill...you're a really cool guy. I always look forward to reading your posts. I like internet radio as well, but I haven't really branched further than Ganja Radio on shoutcast...my friend runs it in North Dakota, USA.

my music has been out of commission for a while now... i hate all my equiptment so I can never feel good about the music I play. ive got so many things to spend money on too that it seems many months away before I will be able to afford another guieet or something.
