I think that the christian God would have wanted us to have more respect for the planet he made for us but I think there are more ideas that divide the two theologies. Christian mysticism may be a bit closer to native ways.

Much of Christianity's success has come from it's ability to adapt to native religions and relate to them through their own belief structures. The fact that Christianity's core ideals, a creator god, a sacrificial redeemer, and an antagonistic spirit are pretty common helps a lot too.
By native, i guess you mean to the Americas, in which case how the maya adapted to Christianity is an interesting subject to look into. Their religion had already placed a high regard for ritual bloodletting from their kings, so the idea of a god who sacrafices himself wasn't too radical a concept for them.
Also, Santaria, or more commonly (and innacurately) known as voodoo, expresses christian messages and themes based on a variety of Africa folk beliefs and traditions. For instance, nature spirits became saints, and god is seen as a distant creator force and not much else. It's also interesting how some of the innacurate myths (most famously the voodoo doll) are in fact European concecpts that have been ascriped out of a sense of fear and paranoia.

there are similarities between the two. i spent a few months with a Tribe in northern wisconsin and learned a lot about there traditions and culture. they don't have an organized church, instead for cleansing and intense prayer they attend sweat lodges. this is where they honor and pray for the spirits of the animals, people, and the earth among other things. they have a Creator and have a similar belief to the afterlife as Christians do in regards to a heaven. i'm not too sure if there is something like a hell in their beliefs. no talk of a hell ever came up.

imo this practice of faith is better than the Christian form because when i went into a sweat lodge i actually came out of it with a better understanding and a clearer way to live my life. it was way more powerful than any church i attended and i have been attending church ever since i was six. also people in society are against christian churches which might play a role in deterring someone to get the full effects of a church.
with the Natives that i hung around nobody was bashing there form of spirituality and it really gave off a good vibe.
