Anyone see this? I think it was NBC, but over in the UK we got it on Sky One, about three or four years ago. I loved the idea, maybe better than I liked the series. But for a ten-parter it was really cool. Funny too. Got me through my GCSE's.
OMG! I love this mini-series...I own it on VHS...and even though its maybe 8 hours lonog, I think it's fantastic... holly
Hmm. There used to be a great site posting fanfiction, called Kingdomspress. Don't know if it's still running though. Four years later and I'm still swooning over Scott Cohen (lately he was in Kissing Jessica Stein, don't know if you saw that?) and working on my literary masterpiece... Loved the whole Little Lamb Village episode, especially Juliet the Woodcutter.
You said finals, does that mean you're in High School? Sorry, I'm a Brit, and don't understand the US system, except that you seem to have this cool place called Kindergarten. When I say GCSE's, I meant the exams I took when I was sixteen and just about to leave secondary school for college. Then again, you might not be American. Sorry for any offence caused. I'm confused. Iris x p.s. Do you know anything about the sequel Simon Moore was rumoured to be working on? House of Wolves or something like that. I dunno.
I think I saw the miniseries once - it was awesome, I love that magical stuff (and Kissing Jessica Stien is a fantastic, realistic and romantic movie - I adore it )
Np. I'm at university. We still have finals...semester finals. I am American. Though, I wish I were from the UK sometimes. No, i don't know....anything other than the rumor that it'll one day happen. but nothing concrete. holly
LOL we are watching this or we were watching this in drama class haha. It is so cheesy.. I laughed at the part when the prince was replaced with a dog. HAHA so cheesy. peace chickens
Yeah, I agree it was a bit cheesy in parts, but it was the idea that really got me. I like the idea of fairytale pastiche. Waht can I say, I'm a creative writing student... Iris x
Thanks for clarrifying all the finals stuff. Why d'you wish you were from the UK? It rains all the time here, although we've got some kick-ass comedy shows. D'you get The Office over there, or Spaced?
I've just always wanted to be in the UK. I actually like rain. Not to mention, the U.S. just sucks most of the time. Oh yea, and I love QPR...(You can blame a forums member for that football-infatuation turn-of-events)... As far as television, I'm sure we get it...on BBCAmerica. However, I don't watch t.v. so I don't see it. Holly
I remember when I was little I always wanted to go on pilgramige to Kansas. Later that turned to New York, or San Francisco. I dunno. BBC America? I never knew about that. Hmm. I did hear you got Eastenders over there until not long ago, which is kind of funny, and in return we got Sunset Beach or something. I never watched that....sounded hilarious though. I live in a house with six guys so I don't get to watch much t.v either ; they're always playing on this geriatric old mega drive someone donated, or watching football. And I do the cleaning. Shit, huh? Probably why I have this fixation with fairy tales. Iris x
