Greetings all Im Dave, looking for a new acquiantence to study yoga and meditation with. Buddism has a lot of interest to me although I am not very educated in it but am eager to learn in a comfortable quite non-classroom type environment. Anyone who may be looking to share knowledge and expereince to help me on this path will be appreciated thanks Dave
Dave - I'm doing a partner yoga workshop with my friend Destiny in sacramento. It will be great fun! If you'd like to drive up and join us, email me at bz029@hotmail.com Other than that, sorry dude san fran too far for a regular study pattern but i'm always open for conversations online! I'm more into yoga than buddhism but i do happen to have a translation of "The tibetan book of living and dieing" which is suppose to be a well known scripture. haven't started it yet but ill let you know how it goes. I know theres lots of different kinds of buddhism. Also, you would probably REALLY enjoy the yoga philosophy workshops in Berkely, CA put on at Yoga Kula and taught by Carlos Pomeda -- he also teaches sanskrit among other things at the University there. Very good info for studying yoga and its roots. Carlos has a great sense of humor and I always feel my day and money has been well spent going to one of his workshops. Let me know how its going. Namaste
