I'm not sure if this should be in the is forum, but I wanted your guys advice. I am a freshman in college and am currently majoring in biology. I really enjoy my anthropology class and am thinking about switching my major. Do any of you guys have any advice for me? What could I do with an anthro degree?

Switch it!! Do what you like to do....

Anthro is such a broad subject and there are many directions you can go. My advice, since you are a freshman, is to take some more anthro classes, get an advisor for anthro, talk to them about what you can do, and just fucking go for it!! The earlier you switch your major, the more time and money you will be saving. Once you get into anthro, you'll see what options are there for you. But if you like it, just do it!

I used to think about being an anthro major. Theres a lot you can do with it. I guess it depends on how far you plan on going with your schooling. Are you going for just a BA or higher? You could always be a anthro professor! Thatd be fun.
