I don't like the way my dreads smell. They don't reek of oder, there just to bland and scentless. And after a day or too, they begin to smell greasy. I use unscented shampoo -dreadhead hq. Would squirts of lemon juice in the bottle make my hair smell lemony? Does Dr. B's smell strong for a long time? Any other natural scents that I could put in shampoo>
    Thanks

Hey I didn't like the unscentedness of it. Other than that I really had no complaints about Dreadhead. I've since moved on to Dr B's Lavender and I can still smell the lavender 4 days later. It's really relaxing. I don't think a squirt of lemon juice would help, due the the consistency of Dreadhead HQ, I don't think it would mix with the lemon juice well.

I've been using dr. B's Lavender and it smells fantastic, and it lasts for days (just like hellodreadhead said). I got the bar, haven't used the liquid soap so I can't tell you how that is. But Dr. Bronner's seems to be the most talked about and used soap on here.

I spend a lot of time out at the bar or with people that smoke cigarettes and herb. It's always a trip to see what my hair smells like. No one ever comments so it must not be bad. I highly recommend bronners. I can smell it for days even with the lifestyle I lead.

wow, my dreads soak up smoke like a sponge...2 weeks later (about 10 washes) and the smell just starts to fade. Next time it happens i'm going to try a deep clean.
