Anyone in UK see the Carolina Chocolate Drops on "Later" last night? An extremely talented and entertaining trio, whose multi-talented lady member performed barefoot. A look at their website shows that she often seems to be barefoot. I love it when performers like this give out the message that it's OK to be barefoot.:)

I was waiting in the doctor's office and read a small piece on Victoria Beckham. She was doing a photo shoot and was told it would be a barefoot shot. She complained saying she had better balance in high heels! She walked on the set unsteadily in a pair of slippers. This was in Allure magazine. OTOH, Lara Flynn Boyle recently showed up barefoot at a red carpet event.

If a woman wears heals all of the time, the muscles shorten in her legs, and can cause difficulty walking barefoot. That's probably what was up with Posh.

Yes I caught the last bit of it too - excellent musicians too! Similarly, Diana Vickers on UK's "X-Factor" performed barefoot for the first few weeks of the live shows, but has worn heels the last couple of shows. I think barefoot suits her personality and singing style much better and she should loose the heels!!
