Is this THE worst time to be graduating from college?

I mean seriously, I'm watching obamas interview and realizing how fucked we really are...


the economy is SHIT, the job market sucks, and most are firing, not hiring.

 

Yes it is. My sister's graduating soon with a degree in medical sociology and she's fucked to say the least.

 

No, you're fine. It's going to be okay. Plan on being flexible as where you want to relocate to. Get a p/t job now in the field you want to work in. Start going to networking events.
This is the begining of something wonderful for everyone that graduates. You might have some self-doubting or job jumping, but rmeember everyone does that, no matter what the economic conditions are.
You are going to be great and have tons of opportunity.

nah it's more like the worst time to be graduating high school. I'm a senior this year and have to worry about paying for college next year. At least you're done.

 

Take out loans and grants and just worry about having a good time and learning. College is sooooo much fun.

 

I'd like to move to NYC and find a great job there. Is this the WORST time to be doing that? Probably lol. But will I still do it soon? Yeah.
