Is it safe to take mushrooms while breastfeeding? How long do they take to get out of your system? How dangerous are they; can they affect babe's development? Should I wait until she's weaned and have a babysitter? Please any advice

I was planning on having a babysitter just wasn't sure how they would affect her. Someone told me she'd be all right if I had milk pumped, but it looks like I'll be waiting til next year.

Good for you cvance49! If you really want to do it right, then lay off all drugs until your baby is off the breast ..... including alcohol and caffeine. That baby is precious! Please treat her as though her formative years cannot ever be redone to fix a mistake!

A bowl a day make make you healthy, wealthy, and wise .... but don't give drugs to your baby! Please don't tell us that you think that it's okay do alcohol, pot, etc. while pregnant! I'm not saying its ok to take drugs while pregnant. However I did do pot, my babe is 3mo's & healthy. Just looking for some advice & enjoy the conversation. Ibelieve those who did take drugs & it not affect their babe are just one of the lucky few. I know a few peope who were messed up on a bunch of shit & got lucky b/c you would've thought that the child wouldn't have made it. So I'm glad cause anything could've went wrong. By the way I also had her without any meds.
It would be moronic to do any drug more intense then bud while caring for a child... Those retarded anti-drug things about leaving your kid alone and them dieing could come true.
