Hey folks! Ok, well when I first got my hair backcombed, there was a huge dread right in the centre of my forehead! But as the hair was coming from all over the front of my head it wouldnt stay together & was finding it hard to knot, so stupidly 3 weeks in I let my 'loctician' (I despise her for all the things she has done to hinder my progress!) cut the hair along the front so it appeared like all my hair was backcombed and I never had any long hair in the first place! (I hope this makes sense!) Well as its grown, it looked more & more stupid, almost like a mini fringe was growing! Well its got to the point now, where I cant grow it long enough to dread it but I cant keep cutting it, as its getting noticeable in the centre of my forehead Any ideas what to do with it? Ta Alex
let it grow and leave it alone... wear hats as far as that big dread goes, if it's not too late i would try to pull it apart into some smaller dreads... if it's not too late. if it's going to damage your hair too much then don't do it. never shave your hair that close to your head again!!!! (i've done it too when i got sick of having a widows peak )
:cheers2:Thanks man! Yeh I hate having this window peak I think you read my question wrong the thick dread came apart and formed the loose hair which I chopped Its pretty hard to always wear a hat in college, but will try and wear mine! Always fancied a tweed farmers one! Peace of the Grove /|\ Alex
leave it grow when it gers to about 3-4 inches it will dread just fine..if u really cant stand the loose hairs blowin in your eyes tie a lil knot in the end then flip it through the roots in random spots dont do it tightly though just 3-4 times just to get it started from there it'll dread up just fine as it grows...if u can its best to just leave it alone as it grows id only do the flip thing loosely only of it really gets annoying
i did the same thing with my first set about a year ago they i took out a week later but i didnt cut that much i let it grow now i like have the loose hair in the front gives them style
