Anyone get a chance to meet Terrence Mckenna when he was alive?

One of my heroes is Terrence Mckenna, and I really would have liked to have met him, but I didn't really get into this stuff till after he was gone. Any of you guys ever get to meet him, and if so what was he like?

 

i wish i could say that i had a chance to be graced by the presence of this man..
but alas.. when he was holding lectures, i was too young to know what was going on
i'm happy to see that someone else respects him as much as i do..

by the way..
ever had the chance to take ayahausca?

 

I wish, not only was he a powerful shaman he was also a born free-thinker, hes one of my idols (and i dont have very many) But no, i didnt get to meet him =( i wish he was alive... He was one of the true geniuses
