Hey people well i'm fast approaching my first time at Amsterdam and I decided that this is clearly the best place to ask for advice concerning the Dam. Shamefully, I'm only staying for a long weekend which seems pretty lame compared to most of your stays! Anyways, I'm staying at ZEEBURG Camping Site so it would be cool if anyone could tell me how far away it is from the best coffeeshops and direct me to them. I'd also like to know where the best pubs/bars are as i'm looking to go to them over the night time. I'm thinking about visiting the Heineken Brewery too, so if that's worth the visit let me know Now the most important question! WHAT IS THE BEST WEED IN AMSTERDAM AND WHERE CAN I GET IT? Oh man, ur gonna love it. Even if ur staying for 3 days, it's gonna be awesome... First thing i would do, is to get the "smokers guide" you can get this at any gift shop (prices vary) and it has all the info ur gonna need (from weed etiquette to places to go high to bars, parks, etc) It also has a pretty good map at the last page. Oh and about the weed, there's no such thing as "the best weed" but one of the strongest is white widdow or super polm (hash). One thing i wish i would've done when i went there was to try as many different strains of weed as i could. Really, do that, it'll be worth it And don't buy large amounts of weed cause believe me u wont finish it (i had to give away the rest of my weed that last night there since i couldn't finish it)
The Heineken Experience is a good time, especially if you are a beer drinker. You get several "free" beers with your ticket. Look for discount coupons in most of the travel flyers. To me, "the best weed in Amsterdam" is what is in my pipe at the time! Actually, when in A'Dam, I usually go for hash more than pot. I can get awesome bud here, but not so easy getting good hash.
Me and my wife will be going to Amsterdam in April for 420. I can't wait, how much $ did you spend on bud and how many day did you stay. I'm trying to figure out how much bud money we will need, we smoke a lot.
Good bud like White Widow or AK47 runs from Euro 7 per gram and up, and hash runs around Euro 5 per gram and up (more for ice hash). Yes, you can buy cheaper bud and hash, but why? Buy the best they have to offer... After the plane fare, I am damn sure not going to scrimp on my smoke while there!
