is facebook really that fun?

i never had it. im thinking about getting one. I have myspace. 2 accounts. actually 3 but that was promoting a festival i threw in the summer at the creek. ( i need to delete that one..)

 

some of the facebook applications are fun. I'm a mobwars addict.

 

I keep forgetting I have it.

I suppose I shuold put it in my linkbar

 

I love it and hate it

I have gotten back into contact with a lot of lost friends

but then some people from elementary and middle school have found me, and I really don't care about the details of their families or how absolutely wonderful their husbands are, or how freaking religious so many of them became

and then there are my relatives who join groups like "Impeach Obama" and "abolish Abortion" and it gets on my nerves

all in all I do like it though

useful? yes.

you will find people you haven't seen in ages, because everyone is listed by their first and last name.

 

see, I had that with myspace, friend I was hunting down for four years, found her with the right myspace search.

 

thats why i love myspace, i get in contact with alot of old friends. i dont put my last name on there though

I HATE the apps. They make me want to cry or murder people. They bore me more than television.

But I managed to meet up with one of my closest school friends recently because he looked me up on facebook and we have really hit it off since...we've got this two man movie club going. Its also great for keeping in contact with people.

I have it. rarely get much use out of it. Myspace I have found a 101 people I had lost contact with- but facebook is just kinda there its a bitch to navigate for me, I just go there and build up my green garden app thing .lol ..but then I wasn't in public high school so i don't have a lot insta connections that way like others do,
and perhaps being listed under my married name doesn't help either

 

It's slighty... and I mean slightly more mature than myspace.

By which I mean you aren't forced to endure someone else overwhelmingly annoying pages.

I use it to keep in touch with a few people.

And I review movies.

And I love my facebook status thing. I mean love it.

yeah, i don't use myspace anymore because 1) it's too hard to find people 2) too many creepers add me 3) it is really not as great... except for music. i have a music myspace that i rarely get on...

But not yet. I'm trying to avoid having to write back to certain people at the moment and if I add you they might see it when they log on, thus knowing i'm avoiding them as opposed to not being on the computer.

Thats the one thing I hate about facebook, nothing you do is private.
