i guess to sum up what the band and i stand for is basically a progression. The only way to achieve this progression is by a means of change. The reason I support such movements like sendero luminoso and other revolutionary movements is because they offer a new way of life. The revolutionists attack in order to achieve a better way of life because they can't with their current government. If they succeed, then it's mission accomplished. If they fail, then that shows the people that the idea of the revolution wasn't helpful, giving them more insight and information so they can hopefully find the awnser they're looking for.
