It doesn't feel done but I can't think of anything else to do, and I like it as it is. I may make some additional changes but I don't think they will be very drastic at all. This is sort of an experiment for me, as I don't often to collage-style things. I suppose you could say I am experiencing a lot of frustration and disillusionment at this time in my life, hence the rather bleak subject matter of the picture. What do you think?
I think it's pretty awesome. If you are finishing it off, I suggest bringing it all together some more, as if it's not a lot crammed into one piece already, the focus seems to be on 3 points (top left, bottom left, right side) rather than 1, making it not hit as deep right away. You should pull it all together some more, like in the white areas where photos seem to be not as connected to the overall piece. Hope I help, peace!
Too chaotic and overlapped, it's hard to find a subject or figure out what's happening... Constructive criticism appreciated?
Even a crop can make the piece look a lot better, the stuff on the left was too much I think. Check it; I took out some color to make give it a more fitting mood. I'd make this the center piece, while putting the stuff cropped out, on the right and left sides of it but meshed into the background keeping this the standout. Of course, this is just my opinion, and it's your piece. I'll pipe down now
I thought about cropping the right side. What did you do to the colors though? Just turn down the saturation?
Very much, I suck at visual arts so photoshop is just a hobby of mine. I am rather fond / proud of some of the things I've made with it but I don't take it too seriously. :cheers2:
Sick photoshop man i wish i was as good at it as you... I think it is a little divided for right now, its almost like three separate images so if you could maybe find some way to tie it together i think it would look even better.
I like it. I would suggest making it the picture of Jesus the center of a larger picture and put more around it. Same theme and colors. Give it a shot. Good start.
the left side is totally disorganized and lacks symmetry, compared to the right side. I'm personally not a fan of grungy stuff, seems too messy... and what else.. umm. The colors are nice.. except for the dark grey on the left which screams too loud.
