Grinder question

For those of you who have grinders with keif catchers, whether two level or four, do you push on the busted up weed to try and get more keif through the screen or not? Ive heard of some -people doing that and i heard it works i was just wondering

 

we normally stick a dime in the middle of ours and shake it up

seems to work better than normal

yeah, ive heard of dimes and nickels in them. dime seems better though nickels a lil big

 

I wouldnt push on it, because that might break it.

^ Yeah, never push on the bud against the screen, this will clog it over time too. Shaking it does the job, shake it a lot, but keep it level, then pat it down on your hand as if you were packing cigarettes, this will get it all into the bottom..

 

I shake mine, and I use a nickel. When my grinder is empty I bounce the nickel on the screen just to shake it out a little. I also use a pin to get the good stuff out of the edge.

hmm.. never heard of the nickle thing. I'll definitely try that out later.

I usually just shake a little.

 

I dont even use a grinder, I just cut it up with scissors in the bag.

 

I never thought of doing anything like this before. I just tried with a nickel and shaking it up and that worked great.

yea i do that if i'm rolling a joint, which is not very often anymore. when im just smoking a bowl i'll grab a nug break off a piece and just tear it into little pieces and put that in the bowl
