I believe everyone is a hypocrite to some degree, from the most conservative fire and brimstone preacher to the most liberal activist. Living strictly by one's personal code is very difficult, and it's not uncommon that even the tiniest slip should occur. But this doesn't necessarily mean that what we stand for means nothing. We are all human, and thus imperfect, and we constantly try to live by what we believe is right. It's just not easy. I hope I didn't just babble a load of nonsense there.
Well aside from politicians you cant really answer any of the others as it all depends on the person in question A hunter would be a hypocrite if they walked around with "I love fluffy bunnies" Tshirts, but many dont, they openly just say I eat meat therefore I hunt, which frankly is more respectable than going to the supermarket and picking out the cheapest bit of meat someone else has butchered Many, many religious people are hypocrites, but Im sure there are those who arent I know many human rights activists who live by their own rules, as much as humanly possible And so it goes on...
i'm no hypocrit. the word hypocrisy, comes from the greek word 'hupokrisis' which means: 'to'act and/or play a part, to pretend, as in a theatrical part.' we all play roles all the time. the thing is, 99% of us never know we play roles. sometimes, we do know we are playing a part but, most times we don't know this. another aspect of 'hypocrisy' is the mask. we all wear at least one mask. most of us wear more then one mask. our word 'person' comes from the latin word 'persona' which, means: 'an actors mask of, a character in a play.' in both the greek and roman theater, the actors wore masks when performing. the word 'human being' means the same thing as 'person' and 'persona.' hypocrisy has a bad name yet, hypocrisy is not a bad thing in itself. what makes hypocrisy is the motive behind it. whom, among us, has not had someone act friendly toward us only, to use us to their own ends and, fuck us over but real good? i have and, it hurts like all fucking hell too! whom among us, have not acted friendly toward, someone because we and/or the other person is lonely, due to sadness because we have no friends? that is a good form of hypocrity that, can get us to eventely drop our hyprocisy. yet, most of us, never can do that fully. we have been wounded too deeply! i said i'm no hypocrit and, that is because i know i can play roles and ware masks. sometimes, i do play a role to protect myself from being hurt. whom, could fault anyone, from wanting to protect themselves from harm? to be real one must be in touch with their mind, soul and/or, spirit. a true hypocite is someone who is not in touch with their mind, soul and/or spirit. a better term for what i am is 'backslider'. sometimes i relapse back into hypocritsy when i'm unaware; when i relazie i have done so, i get myself out of it and, seek not to repeat it. i am making progress out of it. i'm quite sure, i'll never make fully out of it by the end of my life.
Hehe, while "everyone" is a hypocrit about something-I'm sure- ...I'm asking for the *biggest* I failed to put "military" as an option
please dont hate me obama-nuts, but he is. he pretends to be the working class hero but he is fucking rich and a politician so u cant trust him. dont get me wrong, I like him and admire he is a black guy who worked to be where he is but not even that is completely true, he never grew up in chicago, he grew up in hawai with his white grandparents. he is fake, like all politicians, and must be watched.
I dont like Obama too. Im not American, but India would have benefitted more if McCain was president, and thats all I care of.
Hipocrisy is one of the main values in modern consumerist society, you can't be surprised if everyone is a hypocrite.
