    so u r saying u new years ago that the economy would fall the way it did, or that oil and gas prices would rise the way they did? like i said be4 i don't have the book on hand i know there r more. I'm sorry if i believe something is wrong with some of the events tht have happened or r happening. i'll get at something cooper didn't get the chance 2 right about. Did u know that some1 tried 2 contact the government concerning the events of 9/11 b4 they happened. a company based in the middle east that had a branch in 1 of the towers. The company tried 2 contact them again this time they were told some1 would look at it. I guess 2 much time passed without anything being done because the main branch called and had them moved to north or south carolina. and then, well u can figure out the rest, but i've got a friend who worked in tower #1. he's told me some of the things tht went on during tht time. i'm not saying u got 2 believe aliens and shit, or everything coopers been talkin about, but it is obvious secrets r being kept.

    Of course secrets are being kept, they are always being kept.

    As long as humans have war and tax one another you will always be able to "predict" that economies across the world will rise and fall.

    That's like me saying "there will be a war followed by economic decline in Asia."

    It's just to vague, so of course he went on to build an elaborate story around it entailing all sort's of different event's that he tied into it, J.F.K secret government experiment's on alien technology and the such.

    That kind of stuff sell's book's better than dull geopolitical stuff.

    Believe what you want but when you read thing's in book's like Behold a pale horse and other conspiracy laden book's your being tricked in the same way people are tricked by religious text's.

    Rollin24/7, you have horrible spelling... It makes my brain hurt...

    And rudenoodle, in response to the last line in your last post. It is important to not let yourself be blind to many important truths and facts that all the conspiracy theories and religious texts that you have so dubiously cast aside.

    I personally believe that organized religion is the work of the devil, operating under the maxim of divide and conquer.

    It is important to apply critical thinking, and not follow blindly, for that is how you are deceived.

    I believe without doubt that the concept of religion and of god's are man made.

    As for the "conspiracy" book's I suppose I may have been to broad in my statement, (what I feel is a legit read may be viewed as ridicules as I view BAPH) So yeah you got me on that. :)

    It is my strong opinion that I believe can be easily proven correct that the novel "Behold a pale horse" is a work of fiction that is very loosely based on real event's.

    I know evangelist's like Jerry Falwell helped to cripple Africa, he told the people of Africa who were at the time and still to this day being ravaged by the Aids virus to not use condoms.

    He along with many other "christian" business men told the African's to not use any contraceptives, in essence saying that if they used a condom they would burn in hell.

    Thousand's are dieing and are now dead because of the stupidity preached by these heartless con men.

    I think Jerry Falwell's tombstone should read:

    "Aids is better than condoms"

    As a testament to his stupidity.

    What in the world do you have against folks taking responsibility for their own actions?!?!?

    i mean, really ~ think about it. If everyone had abstained, until they got married, and then had remained faithful to their spouses, people wouldn't have AIDS, would they?

    Condoms are NOT 100% at protecting anyone, from anything.

    Abstinence IS 100% at protecting anyone, from STD's to unwanted pregnancy.

    Now, if you've got an epidemic on your hands, do you really think it's wise to encourage the same behaviors to continue, just offer everyone some iffy 'protection?'

    Or might it be wiser to actually educate the folks about behaviors that will not just continue down the same disastrous path?

    The 'Abstinence Program' has brought the number of AIDS victims DOWN in Uganda. And the Program that's being encouraged? Is NOT Abstinence Only ~ It's A-B-C: Abstinence; Be faithful; Use Condoms.

    Aids is better than condom's a religious bigots battle cry:

    People want to fuck, they want to fuck alot, a WHOLE lot.

    Nothing will stop that EVER.

    It's our purpose in life, fucking, making more, just busting a nut in other words.

    People wont stop this even if it kills them, this os pretty much proven.

    So why not use this little contraceptive device called a condom, it cut's back on aid's infection quite well as I understand it.

    Well this is why they can't,

    A self proclaimed doctor who became rich off of his business selling the equivalent of snake oil said if they put a latex condom on your penis and put it into a girl it would REALLY piss HIS god off.

    And if that happened your fucked.

    It was all bullshit to sell bibles and start dollar a day programs to "feed" the hungry there.

    They have made million's off of superstition and the death, on top of this since they are a religious cult they are not entitled to show their yearly earnings.

    It's a sham. All of it.

    In all honesty I wouldn't trust any of the dollar a day programs you may see on television.

    Religion is a business.

    Magicians who instead of saying "I tricked you figure it out" say, "This was the work of a supernatural power."

    I would doubt that many of the so called most devout preacher's belief in it themselves.

    Above all and at it's core religion is hypocrisy.

    No organized religion is the result of the fear of death.

    Nothing more to it than that.

    Y'all saw that 1/3 of the monies given were earmarked for an Abstinence Program, right?

    And i told you about the A-B-C thing, right?

    A = Abstinence;

    B = Be faithful;

    C = Use Condoms.

    It's a three part program, and 1/3 of it is for teaching about abstinence;

    another 1/3 of it is for teaching about monogamy;

    and the last 1/3 of it is for teaching about condom use.

    Why does anyone have a problem with that?

    Did you mean to post that in this thread? It's also kinda difficult to educate anyone about science and agriculture when the social worker's have business men telling the people of Haiti to not use contraceptives.

    Abstinence won't solve anything.

    Look at the middle east, you see what happens when someone tell people they can't have free sex?

    It's moronic, your call for 1/3 of all Africans to stop having sex is a foolish idea that won't work.

    Educate them and don't get them caught up in the christian guilt trip about not having sex or not using condoms.

    They know what condom's are, they were just told not to use them for fear of going to hell.

    Some believe it others don't.

    Christians are killing Africans using dollar a day programs to fill their minds with fear and ignorance.

    Religion is the arch enemy of society.

    Having an 'Oh. DUH!' moment, are we? ;)

    It's all ONE program.

    EVERYONE gets taught the A-B-C's,

    and can choose the best option for themselves. :rofl: (rofl with you, not at you ~ i just had one of those moments, my own self, on another thread!)

    Attempting to teach people, and having those ideologies take effect, are two entirely different things.

    If the Christian missionaries are the only ones who are going over there, to offer help of ANY kind, they're doing a lot more than we are...

    Now, if the folks they're helping want to become Christians, they can.

    If they don't want to, they don't have to ~ they could just pretend to be Christian.

    Here's another thing you may not know ~ Christians are instructed to spread the Word of God to all the peoples on earth. Spread the Word to, NOT convert, everyone. Christians believe that God gives each of us the choice.

    Do you like people to make you pretend to be something you are not?

    And most Christian Missionaries feel obliged to try to convert people to their faith, thats the goal of any organized religion.

    Just look what happened with the spanish missionaries and the Native Americans.

    Very true ~

    but it's been working in Uganda,

    and by using those A-B-C's, a person could actually avoid getting the virus.

    i took what it was saying as meaning:

    Abstain;

    if you can't abstain, Be faithful;

    if you can't be faithful, nor abstain, use Condoms.

    No, they don't 'try to convert' ~ God gives everyone the choice.

    You know, if my life was on the line? If i had close relatives that were dying of a dread disease all around me? i think i could pretty much pretend almost anything, and any ray of hope would be most welcome.

    First of all the United States government has contributed BILLIONS in aid for Africa, they have built hospitals dug irrigation and educated many Africans.

    So let's just be generous and say that the christian league has been able to generate even a fraction of that.

    Well in return what else came with them?

    The installment of christian "beliefs" that feed on superstition and bigotry.

    The fear of contraceptive devices in a country being crippled by aids.

    The in sighting of fear and bigotry into the tribes who do not want to convert to christian beliefs that leads to war's and murder.

    United states aid DWARFS any aid the religious hucksters are able to con out of there people who believe there nonsense all the while keeping 10% of it for themselves to spend on mansions and yacht's.

    Most alarming of all is the fact that if you are the leader of a cult in the United States you are not entitled to show your yearly earnings.

    Religion undermines any democratic process's in any part of the world and in the end does much more harm than good there.

    "Aids is better than condoms." - Jerry Falwell
