So i ve been walking around to many festivals this past season, my latest trip being to the Bear Creek Festival in Suwanee,Fl. and the best of the season being @ All Good IN JUly, though Gathering was right up there....so, i have begun writing somewhat of of a festy based screenplay/compilations of short stories....to occupy the winter months of life.......so here is the concept.... THere is a legend, kept secret by the inner most circle of deadheads, that there exsists a tape of a single dead concert that if listened too, will induce the best trip of your life, this tape recorded and engineered by "Bear" himself has become folklore for many generations of heads, but the location of it is unkown....there are only rumors of its exsistance and the people who know its location. So a group of friends set out one festival season to track it down. THey meet all these mythic festival characters, ranging from roadies, groupies, heads, chewbaccas, musicians, growers, legends and rando's....and expierence hitching from festy to festy...they meet all the right people and are on course to track down the tape, as the story goes so far......I would plan to film this using real festivals on location.....any feedback would be great...am i onto something? or is it the blue honey.....either way winter is coming......
The wirld blinks away an eye im so happy the sun went down and we found the hill walking down the steepness taking hints, making signs not to be read but just to be there in the earth, or on us as jewelry thats the way of the world, when the sidewalks are all lit up even though its raining and several old men huddle in trenchcoats in the warmth of an old novel the reading is scratched out and one comments like islands forming on the waves I wink and theres towers that give me complimentary lessons such and such, this and that, ideas that on every broken machine in the laudromat ring forever more, because thats what can happen out in the world walking around squinting at the ground with a magnifying glass it does us good just like it should
Who knows, maybe you can improve on Tom Wolfe's "Electric Kool Aid Acid Test". It will taken some doing, though.
It's a nice idea, it could be a lot of things, One of those things is "godawful" So ya have to play it right But potentially it could be a lot of fun
