where i live, we usually just go by 1/8 of an ounce, or dime bags, 20 bags, etc. i hear people online talk about grams but I dont really know what a "gram" is. how many buds are typically in a gram? and how much does a gram cost? (for lets say, mids or nugs)
lmfao a gram is a dime 20 bag is a dub like 3 grams i think 1/8th is 3.5 grams quarter is 7 grams .5 grams is nickel or nick 14 grams half ounce 28 grams ounce and a gram is usually like 10-20$ depending on the bud and i dont kno how to explain how amny buds r in gram cuz i never buy grams and it varys
1/8 is 3.5 grams. 1/4 is 7 grams. a gram is usually a 10 sack, depending on quality and location. it will roll a decent sized blunt or 2 fat joints.
Merch or mids around here is $5-$10 a gram, and its $20 for a gram of dank. $20-30 for 1/8 of mids, and $50-$60 for an 1/8 of dank.
This is how it works around here... For The best- .8-1g for 20 For outdoor headies- 1-1.5g for 20 kb- gram for 15 mids- gram for 5 A gram is usually an blunts worth..some bud breaks out better than other, depending on how dense and fluffy it is.
a gram is 1/28 of an ounce. how many buds are in a gram? i guess that all depends on how big the buds are. maybe one or two nugs i guess. a gram of nugs would probably run ya 15-20 depending on the quality. i wouldn't buy a gram though, you might as well save up and get a dime for around 25 or an eighth for around 50
keepblazin420 i think your confused gram, 8th, quarter, half, ounce - these are terms describing an exact QUANTITY. meaning, how much you are getting nickle, dime, dub - these are terms describing PRICE NOT QUANTITY, meaning, how much you are paying meaning, a nickel is ALWAYS $5, its just whatever QUANTITY your dealer will sell you for $5, there is no exact quantity a dime is ALWAYS $10, it's just whatever QUANTITY your dealer gives you for $10, there is no exact quantity nickel, dime, dub, the price is the constant and quantity is the variable gram, 8th, quarter, etc, the quantity is the constant and price is the variable saying the definition of a dime bag is a $10 gram of bud just doesn't make sense... then if you go buy a dime bag of super-duper-dank and a dime bag of mexi-dirt weed you just purchased high quality bud for the exact same price as shitty bud? if dime bags were $10 grams, then nobody in the whole country should be paying more than $35 an 8th because apparently according to you dime bags are always $10 and weigh to a gram. i dont think you can even keep track because in your own post you said: "a gram is a dime" then "a gram is usually like 10-20$" if a gram is a dime, and a dime is $10-20 then it's not a dime is it!? dimebags are 10 bucks, hence the DIME part, dime being 10. if you have one gram of bud selling for $20 what at all makes it a dime bag? sorry to go on and on about this but thats one thing thats always bothered me, when people fuck up the lingo, makes things more confusing for everyone anyway now that nonsense is taken care of, back to the original poster's question. a gram is a gram! thats like asking what a pound is. its a unit of measure. you cant tell someone how much a gram looks like because it will vary. if the buds are dense it will look smaller and weigh more, if they are really really fluffy it can look like a lot more but weigh the same. should be at least 3-4 bowls worth, depending on how you pack of bowl, of course. you should be able to eyeball a dime man it's not that hard! if your really that paranoid save up 20 bucks and buy a scale, you will know exactly what a gram of your shit looks like then
no one in my town sells anything lower than headies anymore, so no matter what your pretty much paying $20 a gram, but if its just me, I can make a gram of this weed last a day of being really stoned, or maybe a weekend of being kinda stoned. the funny thing is, I can get an ounce of the same weed for $250. I guess you just have to know the right people. but yeah, a gram is an exact amount, a dime/dub is an amount of money.
