Yeah, and out of Iron Maiden... Not true of course, just pointing out how much sense you made. What has Dragonforce to do with bands like Slipknot and Korn? Only that it's both called metal.

It's pretty pointless to complain about something in a thread that has nothing to do with the rest of the thread. I can see why someone mentioned Korn here, but not Dragonforce. It has nothing to do with nu metal.

 

dragonforce > korn, slipknot, evanescense, disturbed, and all that gay shit

 

I don't know about that, I always heard that metalfans thought power metal one of the gayest kind of metal. I like power metal better than nu-metal though, but Dragonforce isn't really a good example of what I think is good power metal.

 

i never said dragonforce was that great...but i'd probably take power metal over nu-metal any day. i enjoy it.

Alright, I'll go along with you. I'm actually SUPER jealous of Slipknot, I TOTALLY wish I could play bass like Paul Gray.

By the way, that is by far the single worst criticism I've ever heard.

Dunno, depends how much they aimed for fame I guess. But sometimes there are bands not aiming for it but can't handle it, yes. And then you have the ones that don't go to bullshit after they get famous.. those just get off track when they're too old. Iron Maiden's a good example Live they're still great though, but they only played old stuff this summer! :cheers2:
