Okay, its like this Spens. IT DEPENDS WHAT TYPE OF DRUG TEST YOU'RE TAKING. If you're taking the test where you piss in the bottle, and the seal it up and send it to a lab, you're probably fucked. If its those 5-panel ones where they drop a few droplets of piss into a little white drug test, similar to the ones you can purchase at walgreens, they I believe you should be alright. Those tests are fuckin ridiculous, I passed a weed test from smoking all day every day, clean for 10 days, and I passed. They're cheap as fuck.

Regardless, the half-life of hydrocodone itsnt very long, its out of your system in like 2 days, 3 days max. And the detection levels for the cheap walgreens drug tests are a joke. And you're completely right about the hydromorphone, oxycodone and hydrocodone do not break down into codeine or morphine, so they will not be detected on a standard drug test as opiates, unless you took an unbelievable amount.

But honestly, like I said before, it mainly depends on what type of test you will be taking.

no prob man, I help out everyone when it comes to drug tests, cuz I gotta do the same shit so we're on the same boat. But that sucks that you get lab tested, Im on probation too and I get the cheap drug tests that I mentioned before.

 

We have a 5 panel test at work and being that I am a supervisor... I have to give them. For ours you pee into a cup like thing which has to sit for 5 minutes and then you turn a lever which allows the pee into the screen zone. They are not generic Walgreens tests. If your test is any way similiar to the one's we use... you will pop for opiates. I have a vike script for the 7.5 when I had hand surgery. I took a few home to see what may work to help pass, I popped for THC and Opiates. Good luck.. but missing sounds like a good plan!

 

Like kil0 said, it depends on the type of test. Most standard tests, test for morphine. Codeine and Heroin both break down into Morphine, Hydrocodone does not, so it is usually not detected. However, there are new home and lab tests, that can detect the presence of Hydrocodone, and Hydromorphone (what hydrocodone breaks down into.)

Because of this new test, it's really hard to say.

Next time, try and take Oxycodone. Oxycodone will not show up.

I remade what I wrote to explain myself a bit more.

It's hard to say, but most likely Hydrocodone will show up, because most places will use the more advanced tests. Every single test I have taken in the past 2 years, I tested positive for Hydrocodone.

Oxycodone has never shown up, because Morphine is not a major metabolite of Oxycodone. Continuous and repeated use may show a false positive for Morphine, but a follow-up test should be able to rule Morphine out.

Wow lot of misinformation in this thread at first. I will guarantee you will not fail for hydrocodone on a piss test ( 5 panel ), even if you took it the same day as the test, especially since you only took 20 mgs, which is nothing. Hydrocodone is not tested in standard drug tests, neither is oxycodone. You will be positive for opiates if you take codeine, heroin, morphine, poppy pods. Most other opiates pills youll be fine, unless you do it everyday. Just go to erowid next time, its really simple. Here.

No man. It doesn't break down into hydromorphone. Sorry bro. I'm sure you've already taken the test and know this now, but while you can pass a 5 panel if you've taken a low amount of oxy (I know, I've passed one like this for probation) hydrocodone will catch you, even a low amount.

Next time take a couple perc's instead, or else find a good masking agent they don't test for. If you had a few days I could give you some suggestions but with one day you really are probably fucked.

Plus its a day later now. I guess I should be asking not telling. Did you pass?

Here's the thing about OC - it metabolizes into morphine in the brain just like most opiates, synthetic or natural. The difference is that OC metabolizes into significantly LESS morphine in the brain than something like hydro. That means when a drug test is testing for "opiates" it can sometimes miss a low amount of oxy. In order for you to test positive for opiates the test must find a minimum level of morphine metabolites in your urine, a certain parts per milliliter. That level is set to catch people using heroin, morphine, hydro, even opium which all metabolize that certain amount into your bloodstream and then your piss. But oxycodone metabolizes less, and therefore can result in a passed test even if you took it the day of or day before. The difference is if you take a test that does test specifically FOR oxy, which many do these days. But a standard 5 panel drug test for a probation office or whatever often can let oxy slide. However man, I'm not saying you can blow 100mg an hour before your test and be safe. Although at that point I think I probably wouldn't show up for my test lol.

But I took about 40mg orally prior to my test and passed.

I think if you look on Erowid and other drug sites they will confirm this information. But K, obviously you and I both know it is better safe than sorry. That time I took 40mg was an accident. And I was so scared I thought I was going to get totally fucked, but it turned out ok. Anyway, I'm not suggesting you try to work the system, but if it ever does happen, you might be able to sneak under the radar.

Hmm.. that is usually a dead giveaway. It might be more credible to go to a doctor ASAP and then say you were too sick and have a doctor's note to prove it. But yeah man, I'm glad you didn't test positive but missing a test sucks too. Keep us updated. I hope there are no unfortunate consequences. Is this test for work, or what?

see what I mean man, having such knowledgeable intellects as yourself and u4ia, as well as shocbomb's wisdom from the experiences he's been through makes this community unique, and overall worth it. Especially you, me, u4ia, euphorial, does2, and Im too high to write the rest but, us who use drugs intelligently, safely, recreationally, and RESPONSIBLY, then drugs would probably be legal. I would of never got locked up, over half of the inmates in federal prisons are there for fuckin drug possession, I wouldnt be on probation.. and now Im just high and rambling.

My point is, I (for the most part, almost everyone) love this community and if every drug user were like us, informed about the substances they decide to use, and take full resposibility for using, then drugs would be legal and the world would be a better place IMO.
