It's ok... It comes in waves, right now its gone. Besides, if I wanted to go to sleep I could.. But it wouldn't help. btw we're seeing Wicked. Play about witches. We got tickets for free from my dads employers because he stayed out in America longer than intended; to do the work. (2 weeks became 4). Other than that, I need to do some shopping and we're going to the Temple.
sounds good. i heard wicked is great. i think its about the witches from wizard of oz or something, right? i had a friend who saw it in new york i dont like shopping much, though, but enjoy
I don't like shopping much either.. But i need more jumpers. Yeah apparently.. A friend of mines sister saw it, she loves it.
i read the original book a while back. basically it follows the life of the wicked witch of the west and some of her friends. i thought it was pretty damn entertaining actually.
While they both are generally associated with "good and bad", I don't look at them as meaning entirely the same thing. Basically what I was trying to say is that circumstance dictates how fortunate you are....it's obviously as that encompasses everything from your surroundings, specific time frame, etc..(to clarify: circumstance that is). However luck differs in the sense that it plays into circumstance in an entirely different way...Ie. You are apparently "lucky" if you are born into an environment that can provide for you. On the other hand, you are "fortunate" if you've acquired a promotion, came to a realization, moved etc...meaning that in one way or another you've tried and worked at achieving whatever it was you achieved. Luck still has a partial role in regards to being fortunate, just a much different one...does that make any sense?
I read it too. I loved the twist on the original story line. Very political! I tried to read the second book a few times but just cannot get into it. Its called Son of a Witch.
Well I money can have a big impact in the here and now. But no-one really gives a fuck about who just made money after they're gone.Unlike say scientists or creative people. So I'd wanna be remembered for my writing when I'm cryogenically frozen. And some other stuff. I'd hate to be completely forgotten.I'd see it as a complete waste of my life.. But everyone's different.
I think that I will be remembered in the village where I teach for quite a long time and there are definitely some ladies who'll never forget the night they danced a jig with me. Really though, I honestly believe that what I'm doing here has a positive impact on the people around me and will leave a mark on future generations of some of the kids in the village. Improve their earning potential, and they're view of the world will be broader than it was when I got here. Whether they remember 'me' or not, is of no importance whatsoever..
