So today I was looking in the freezer and I see a bag of my grandfather's (who has cancer) pills. I had previously seen these and went through them, nothing good, etc. Oh, and before anyone thinks I'm being a dick for taking these from him, he hates them and rarely uses them, plus, the pills that are in our house (not his) are ones he isn't taking anymore. Anyway, there's this other bottle, set aside. I look at the bottom and see some VERY small pills. I read the label, and the contents are 16 2mg hydromorphone pills. The only problem is that my parents have put tape on the top so they can see if I open the bottle. I can probably take off some of the tape and get in there, that Isn't really the problem although I'm still not sure if snorting hydromorphone is worth the risk as it doesn't sound too amazing. I'm more worried that my parents think I'm a drug addict and are keeping me from snorting these delicious little orbs of goodness. This is probably due to the fact that there are a few bottles of 5/500 and 10/650 vics in there that I used to snag on occasion. Anyway, it seems like theres a good tasty buffet of pharmaceuticals in that freezer (I'm not sure why there).
So what is your question? Snorting Hydromorphone, especially 2mg pills, will not be worth taking the risk of trying to sneak them out. You would need at least 12mg to get any sort of buzz, and don't expect anything more then a really light vicodin type buzz. Hydromorphone is only good IV'ed. The bioavailability of it is so low, it's because of this reason that it's not strong when taken orally or intranasally. I am sure some people might disagree and say that Hydromorphone does give a buzz snorted, but I personally think it's not a good enough buzz to risk getting in trouble for, and you will be very dissapointed. Even IV'ed, 8mg didn't impress me.
Personally, I love to blow dilly's all night... My favorite opiate. Is it worth getting in trouble for? Ten kilo's of heroin ain't worth the trouble, imo. You gotta get in, get out and diversify yo funds, like bing bang bum.
BTW.. if you put three pills in a line and sniff it, you wouldn't be disappointed. But don't steal from your parents, if only because you are under their rule.
2mg pills to us usual opiate users would be nothing I mean nothing! ha but to someone with no tolerance as it seems you are not a big opiate user then yes taking a few of those and snorting them would in fact prob give u a nice rush! But like others have said, Its really not worth stealing and having to go through those long "im so disapointed in you" talks lol! I remember those days! ha So do what you do but do it smart!
pshhhht I dont get in trouble for shit though, my mom asked me if I smoke weed and I was like yeah, since 8th grade, and now I do it almost everyday and she told me she didn't believe me.
oh and as for tolerance I last had 20-25mg oxy (about half a 40mg) about two weeks ago, so I'm pretty sure I'm good for 8mg of this, but who knows.
Yes if 20 mgs of oxy fucks you up, and that was 2 weeks ago, 8 mg of dillys will have you on your ass, make sure you snort it though.
lol ok so since its taped off and I'm about 99% sure nobody was ever going to use them, my friend and I went to meijer's and swapped the pills with some allergy meds that look nearly identical to them and have no markings, so we took all of them last night, each. We started with three and that had us kind of buzzed so we did the last of them, which wasn't a great idea. These are great painkillers, but they don't produce much euphoria (considering I had more than twice the recomended dose) and the high is more body oriented. This is definitely the strangest opiate I have used. It was actually a slightly uncomfortable feeling. I would definitely prefer oxy and probably wouldnt do these again...
I just read this, I was thinking the same thing, it wasn't even hidden from me. If you think I'm going to take them enough to tape off the bottle to see if anyone opens it, why would you even put it where I would see it all the time?
wow you took 16 mgs hydromorphone, and that didn't put you on your ass? thats crazy considering 20-30 mgs of oxy fucks you up. DId you snort it? Guess your one of those people that doesn't metabazlize mophine well. Morphine, codeine, probably arent the best pks for you then if the dillys didnt work out. Sticky to hydros and oxys.
Can I just say something? Who the fuck puts pills in the freezer? Really. I mean I guess that is the last place on earth I'd look if I was searching someone's house for pills so I guess if I were a parent trying to hide drugs from a resourceful teen maybe the freezer would make sense, but what about when he opens it up in search of his bagel bites? Honestly, plus putting dilaudid and vikes in there.. KingGeorge it almost seems like a trap. Good work on the swap though. Even the most knowledgable people often don't notice a well executed swap. I support your actions as long as you are right and no one is going to be in pain without meds cause you took 'em. I must've worded that poorly, there were 10 pills, 2mg each. We split them half and half 5 pills each snorted. 10 mg each. It did knock me on my ass, I was fucked up. But it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I couldn't move it was so intense and there was mostly body high, no euphoria. HAHA and today I saw a bottle of morphine sulfate liquid. I'm starting to get paranoid it might be a trap.
