Southern Cali -New Years 2008/2009- Events?

I know its still early, but im trying to plan a trip around this time to the Southern Cali/Arizona area and i want a cool fest/event to go to. I am looking for mostly electronic events...like Lightning in a Bottle, or something similar that im not familiar with. Does anyone know of anything that goes on like that annually around mid Dec-mid Jan? Thanks for your time! Peace..

Together As One is always a good new years party to hit up, its the big one at the LA colliseum. a lot of people dont like it though because its too mainstream and Insomniac sometimes organizes it badly. they usually have some pretty big names playing though.

 

yeah im looking for something a little more underground i guess lol...i like alot of the west coast breaks scene, and also the jam scene...thanks for the reply though!

This thread caught my eye because I live in SoCal, but I have no idea. I'm not really hip enough to be on hipforums anyway.

 

glitch mob has got to be doing something (not that i would go to a fest just for glitch mob, but they should be doing something in the cali are for sure around new years i would think...)....im sure its just a matter of time before i see some things pop up..

 

Glitch Mob in Denver for New Years... since Yonder/Panic sold out so quick, I'll be bringing in the new year with them! A bit bummed about missing a GREAT show at the Pepsi Center, but the Mob will put on one hell of a party! I hear Glitch Mob will be in Lawrence in March '09 also...

 

Gonna be sick.. Anyone hitting it up for NYE? Glitch Mob sounds pretty awesome too.

Anyone know of any late nights for The WSP run? :hat: I have a feeling I wont quite be ready to wind down after the shows. hehehehe
