As far as I know the Ecstasy of Taoism has no solution for the passing of time. The ecstasy of existentialism is at least psycho-analyzed for the time horizon. What is a time-horizon? That is mystery for both Taoism and Existentialism, but the former treats it solvable; the latter treats it for definition (in fact, in existentialism the truth of the time horizon is needs the already existing definition for Truth: that's my opinion for Now).
