anyone know anything about this?

the other day my friends and i did dxm. me and two other friends split an 8 oz. bottle between the three of us (roughly 250mg each) and we were all tripping pretty hard- lying down at some points, and we all agreed it was surprisingly intense.

my other friend, who is known to be pretty tolerant to drugs (he's also the heaviest of all of us, weighing like 175) ended up finishing an ENTIRE 8 oz to himself. That's 708mg of DXM, which should be tons, and would have put any of us at the 3rd plateau at least.

but he was perfectly fine. playing video games, even, and walking around saying he jsut felt "a slight bit hazy". it didn't even sound like he had hit the 2nd plateau. but even being resistant, isn't 708mg a huge amount to just not feel? does anyone know about certain qualities that just make someone totally resistant to certain drugs like dxm?

he also never really seems drunk, and he's eaten up to 6 grams of mushrooms and getting little/no visuals and no mental trip. anyone know someone like this, or know what may cause it?

not really looking for a "cure", it's just sort of interesting and i'm wondering if anyone has encountered someone like this.

oh and if he is resistant to mushrooms he must have a strong mind, another big factor

 

yeah, he never really releases his control on psychedelic drugs- he likes being "on top" of shit and wouldn't sacrifice that to fall into a heavy trip.

but i mean, really, he said he didn't feel anything except maybe slightly fuzzy vision. 708mg should put someone 30 pounds heavier than him at a decent 2nd plateau dose. something's up there.

 

alot of people say they "don't feel" certain drugs, i think its bullshit sometimes. then again everyone reacts differently to each mind-altering substance.

 

Honestly I don't feel some things. I drank a whole bottle of dxm once and didn't feel anything. I did other times but I guess that time I didn't.

I also took a 2mg of Xanax to the dome once and it didn't do anything to me except make me really, really tired about an hour later. I have no tolerance to Xanax at all. I have taken it before orally and it sort of effects me, but not too much.

Also, alcohol doesn't effect me much. The first time I drank, I took three shots of Everclear and I didn't feel a thing.

The funny thing is, I only weigh 135 lbs.
