The album is one of my all-time favorites, but I haven't been able to find the patience for the film...

I own the film on DVD. Where to get it? One word: eBay!!

The first time I saw it in the 70s when it hit TV (never was a movie house film that I know of) and I was captivated by it's simple message. The music fits it perfectly - and the story / songs are by someone worth mentioning here - Harry Nielsen. I also on the CD of the songs, and it's just a really uplifting little piece to listen to a few times a year. I highly recommend it.

i watched this movie all the time when i was a kid! :D

i heard that the creator got the idea for the movie while he was on acid- he realized that everything (trees, houses...) all came to a point or something.
