Has anyone seen this movie? It's about a boy and his telepathic dog looking for sex in a post-apocalyptic desert. It's also the single greatest film of the twentieth century.
Would it still be worth watching today? I'm a big Fallout and post-apoc fan. But it's from like 1970.
I remember liking it. I remember when it came out, I guess I was maybe in my early teens, but my mother had a fit over it when she saw the ad in the newspaper. "A boy and his dog, rated R? What's this country coming to?" The line I best remember was when he finds a female corpse and sayd "What a waste. She looks like she still had some good uses left." Or something like that.
One of my favorites.A few people I know didn't wait for "the change".Just thought it would be the same as the first part.(you know what I mean).--"c'mon honey ,I'll start with you!
We watched that about a month ago. Mr. Wonderful is a film buff and collector and he's had this for quite some time, offering it as a suggestion now and then when it's movie night. I finally said ok. If I'd have known Don Johnson was in it, I probably would have asked "what else do you have?" It was pretty good. And the ending was totally abrupt and funny but weird all at the same time.
