    I hate myself when even think the word retard. we don't need to add to others misery and really! can't we live with out one extra insult for others.

    I think its insulting that the word was once used officially to brand mentally handicapped people.

    Reclaiming it for non-disabled, but annoying and stupid normal folk is fine.

    Eventually you won't even think of mentally handicapped people when the word is used. You will think of the asshole that drives horribly
