Since all the recent shit that has been happening, what do you think is going to happen? Do you think its going to escalate into a world war? I for one am a little nervous that we are supporting Israel in all their bullying over in the middle east. They are gonna start picking on Syria, who has a mutual protection pact with Iran, who has nuclear capabilities now. The smartest thing to do I think would be to pull our support of Israel, so we dont get nuked. What about you guys?
the future is looking a bit grim. but america will never pull their support of Israel. too many christians in america bent on bringing about the end time prophecies. plus america helped create Israel. they wont condem it. Israel is like a spoiled child of America. america doesnt want to tell israel they are wrong and now israel thinks they can get away with anything. plus israel thinks god is on their side and will protect them from any threat. haha i think they forgot the babylonians, assyrians, persians, romans, ottomans, etc who all conquered israel
Any major disruption in the world due to nuclear war, or the unchecked spread of weaponized small pox virus or similiar event would be immediately followed by the "great dying." Most people in the major industrialized countries are so far removed from the source and generation of their food and energy that starvation, disease and social breakdown is almost guaranteed. The knowledge of our ancestors just two generations back...the knowledge of "make do" and "self-sufficiency" are to a large part lost. the poor and unfortunate people disrupted in the katrina disaster who were left standing on the bridges, viaducts and other places that knew nothing but to stand there and cry for help that was late in arriving are an example of what I mean. How many millions (or billions) would be left lost and without hope of survival in a world wide mishap? You will notice that in the third world countries that were effected by the massive tsunamie in 12/26 did NOT just stand there and beg or scream angrily for help. they took the help that they got but to a large part started taking the goal of survival into their own hands as quickly as they could. In the industrialized nations there would be a massive die off and social breakdown. In America as much as a third to half of the citizens would die in a prolonged social or civilization crisis. The natural environment would not and could not support a quick return to nature by a large percentage of the population. hunting, fishing and foraging pressures would rapidly deplete the natural biota. Carefull planing in hunting restrictions are what support much of the "wild" resouces in America now. Prior to the 1900's or even as late as the 1930's much of the natural reserve of game animals had been depleted in many parts of the United States. The stocking and repopulation of deer, turkeys and many other species paid for in a large part by the fees associated with hunting liscense and taxes on sporting goods has maintained the "fish and game" commisions and departments at the state levels that supervise and carefully control these resources. The VAST MAJORITY of americans do not hunt or fish. An active minority do and yet populations of many game species must be carefully regulated and controlled to keep the species viable in many areas. If a wholesale return to hunting and fishing were to occure, the natural resources would rapidly fail. In eastern kansas (my home state) there were NO poplulations of whitetail deer or turkeys after about 1936. The resulting populations are wholly the result of careful stocking and management on the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. The seemingly overabundance of deer is an artifically maintained status that would fail in a national crisis. In a rapid return to an agrarian culture there would be an immediate shortage of food due to lack of reseves and then a lack of the basic manual farming equipment, skill and knowhow. There would not be available seeds or supplies on hand to support the population shift. Many products on the shelves at present are the results of hybridization and would not produce desirable seed or crops id taken as seed. those not already prepared for the move prior to the crisis would almost positively be doomed to failure and starvation. The natural energy sources...mostly wood, would not support a sudden flux of 300 million new consumers and most of the resources are located on privately held properties. In heavy population zones the natural energy sources and biota would be insufficient to carry the load. very few people are equiped to harvest or utilize natural energy sources. Most people could not start a fire if matches, lighters or similiar products were not avaiable. Gloomy scenerio but pretty much what could be expected in WWIII in America if we did not win or if society failed due to the war.
other then that it's (wwiii) obviously a very bad idea, it could concievably come to where the entire rest of the world may have to get togather to mutualy defend itself from the u.s. i'm less worried about the tents the u.s. is pissing into suddenly morphing into godzillas and stomping 'the west/north', then i am about u.s. and its blinded allies becoming even more of an irrisponsible threat to all of humanity and possibly all life on earth then it currently, intentionaly or not, has become. =^^= .../\...
I think that the war in the middle east will rage on just as it has for years. However this time it will slowly spread and escalate, causing more and more countries to be involved. but I do not think it will be "WWIII" until the major countries are involved. U.S. will begin sending in troops as the Terrorist Factions grows in numbers, then this faction will enlist the help of countries that are against us. There's very few countries that wouldn't act at the chance to bring America down, as long as the rectifications were not too great. I think most other major countries will hate us for involving ourselves in the Middle East, thinking we are just trying to take over the world. How easily could china devastate our economy, considering they export so much of our supplies. I can't see North Korea attacking anyone right now, considering the entire UN is against them. But once the UN breaks up and countries choose sides, then they'll side against us and we'll have them to worry about. Of course this is just my opinion.
well i still thing the biggest threat of a wwiii is that some american politician will start it to get elected to the presidency. which would be a really dumb thing to do all arround. but look at what we've got and what it's done and is doing. =^^= .../\...
it is. and eventualy people will get tired of it. and then the oil will run out, and other things will happen, and eventualy we'll never get arround to getting back to starting another one. maybe people will even grow up enough to see the connection between priorities and probability. it doesn't take sainthood or even rocket science to do so. that is why i believe eventualy that we actualy will. =^^= .../\...

I have a hard time seeing that scenario, outside of the invasion of Iraq the U.S. has never started a war the wars were brought to the U.S., however it very well could be from the U.S. sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong. Oh, and p.s. a politician can not start a war until after elected.

Iraq=U.S. being assholes, Afghanistan=Kind of justified, remember 911, Vietnam= started before U.S. got in, between North and South, although we did not start it, we did stick our noses in where it didn't belong.
We live in an unconscious fear of this War, and will do anything to live in 'stability' and lead a predictable life (9-5 job, house in suburbs, etc). Whoever it is that is behind the curtain controlling things knows that people will sacrifice freedom for convenience and ease of life. Look at the patriot act, the current police force, modern militaries. People are farmed in rows like corn, and we call it freedom. We trust that others will protect us from war and that we personally will never have to fight, or run, for our lives. The very idea of this War leads people to enact more laws and put more trust in the government to protect and serve us. Obama is seen as a saviour from this recession and America's fall from the top of the hill. The upcoming few years will show us what we fear, people will fear and this fear will change them. WWIII will not be a war of nations, but it is the change we have hoped for and sang about in so many songs. The mayans, the egyptians, the chinese, nearly every facet of humanity has predicted this. Science has even started to see what is coming. The consciousness called history is twisting and preparing for this. Be happy now, everything is as it should be :cheers2:
