Yeah that happened to me too

 

Happy Buy Nothing Day.

We made it a whole week and have done pretty well. We had a big stuff swap and free store all week and workshops on having an anti consumerism holiday season and what not and we gave away free organic coco.

It was pretty much the funnest time ever. I just got to sit at the table, and get to know really lovley people and teach them about why we have buy nothing day, teach some knitting lessons, and give away free coco.

so nice.

 

That sounds fantastic. We promoted this day last year at the college I was at.

 

I had already decided to not give in and buy a bunch of crap this year so gift baskets are on the list only this year. Food items only so not waste (well other than human waste) will be given.

 

where did you do that? Sounds lovely.

I am gonna try not to buy anything, but today is my only day to work on my bicycle, and so i might need to buy some handle bars. But i buy them from a co-op that has used bicycle parts. i participated last year.

 

i heard about that on the radio..
when they were talking about "Kick a Ginger Day."

too bad i don't know any ginger heads.. lol.

 

hahahahaha I know a ginger and Ive been wanting to kick him for months so its perfect.

I cant imagine Cate buying weed. thats funny.
