OKAY! well i know i do actually dream. i just don't remember them. Now i know this most likely has nothing to do with it. but i do have extremely good memory. Also when taking Hallucinogens like salvia i am quite the heavy weight. my friend and i have a 21x extract. he goes off into another world. and i just have the gravity feeling. is there any specific reason as to why i don't dream. it has always bothered me. i get very jealous of people when hearing about their dreams. is there anything i can do that will help me dream. or help me remember my dreams.. any advice is good advice. thank you
eat milk and cheese b4 going 2 bed. and no WHITE NOR POT b4 sleep or you wont DREAM! im serious:cheers2:
If you set an alarm to go off when you are in the dream cycle of sleep (about 2am) you should be dreaming right as you wake up making remembering the dreams more likely. If you wake up much earlier or later than that you'll be in a different phase of sleep and thus won't be dreaming so your odds of remembering are less likely. If you really have a shorter dream cycle than most, which it seems you may, it might take setting the alarm clock for a different time each night until you find the right one to match your sleep cycle.
thank you for that help. my sleeping schedule is quite horrible. some days i will sleep at 1. others 4. an alarm doesnt really wake me up. it just wakes me up for like 2 seconds. long enough to turn it off. could the foods i eat and the poor sleeping habits i have make a difference?
u sound like me......... well put the alarm to disrupt you anyways and you should still remember. and milk and cheese have sumthing forgot what its called but it helps the chemicals that make you dream come more.
actually, no matter what you do before you go to bed, you will dream. dreaming is what you do during REM sleep. this is the most resting sleep, the time during the night where your body recharges. unless, you suffer from some kind of disease or malfunction, such as sleep apnea, where your REM sleep is interrupted. you can stay asleep, but without REM sleep, it is as if you were never actually sleeping, just resting. without dreaming, you will feel very tired and fatigued and can eventually die. pot or other drugs do not decrease your chances of dreaming, just your chances of remembering. while dairy products contain tryptophan, an amino acid which will aid in making you tired, does not necessarily increase your chances of dreaming.
Get some Calea Z. herb then smoke it or make it into a tea (but it tastes awful) before you go to bed. The plant greatly enhances lucid dreams. It doesn't work every time but if you become aware that you're dreaming you should have an easier time remembering it.
drug do DECREASE YOUR ABILITY TO REMEBER like you said. WRONG it helps out release the chemicals in your brain that make you dream more like i stated. If you wish i can look it up on the book i found at the bookstore if you wish to know .
i seem to dream most when i am sober and there has been a lot on my mind during the day. if im calm and relaxed i dont dream.
I dream every night, whether I smoke the herb or get shit faced drunk I still dream. I do tend to remember less though. Recently I quit drinking and only toke up once or twice a month and I have had many lucid dreams even some where when I awake I have senses of guilt, fear and sometimes anger or fear. This has been a bit odd yet I am enjoying it very much.
I've never been good at remembering my dreams. In fact I very rarely remember dreaming at all. Of the dozen or so times in my life that I woke up during a dream I've never remembered what they were about even a few seconds later, only the fact that I knew I had just been dreaming. The last time I even remember dreaming was about 4 months ago, when I woke up to my own scream. No idea what it was about but it was probably a nightmare.
A few days probably wont be enough. It took me at least to weeks after I quit before I started dreaming again. They have been very vivid, and I've been remembering up to 3 dreams in a night on multiple occasions.
My brother never dreams either, according to him. The best way to dream is to wake yourself up before you really have to get to bed and then got to sleep again. Keep waking up every hour or so. When you wake up, don't move and instaed think about what you dreamed about, but don't pressure yourself to do so. Then write it down. If you do this as much as possible, it will very likely increase your dream-remembering ability. See, that's your problem. How are you going to remember the dream if you fall asleep before even processing it?
