How does morphine compare?

I've been dabbling in opiates little by little over the past few years but I've still never tried morphine oddly enough. I wanna try it because it's like the 'main' opiate and the primary constitute of opium.

I'm fairly well acquainted with oxycodone, have tried hydrocodone once and heroin a few times. How does snorted morphine compare to these at what doses? I do not have any tolerance to speak of, so there's no worries about that. I ask because I have access to MSContin. I'm aware morphine has a poor oral bioavailability unlike oxycodone. Oxy seemed to be pretty similar snorted and oral at the same doses. I plan to snort the morphine but how's the high compared to oxycodone? It's a lot cheaper. It's like half the price of oxycodone.

 

Honestly. It sucks. Don't get your hopes up. That euphoria you typed about on your other post, you won't get any of it. Just a slight body buzz (more of a numbing in my opinion). Seeing as you have "no" tolerance, your effects/outcomes could be different than mine. Be safe, and enjoy.

Also, don't snort ms contin, it won't do anything, but cause trouble. It's not like oxy. It has wax throughout it (not just the coating). I'd start with taking 30mg orally and wait 2 hours. See how you feel and go from there.

Keep in mind, to catch a good buzz, you may have to crush into a powder and take upwards of 90+ mg.

 

Eh I was afraid of that. Does it really have wax throughout the pill? Those sly bastards. I dunno about eating it. It seems like such a waste. Morphine is metabolized pretty fast and has a terrible bioavailability to begin with (25ish%). I'm not gonna shoot it. Like hell I wanna start with that. I bet plugging it would be a decent method.

After reading some reports on Erowid a lot of people seem to be snorting the MS Contins.

When I got em, I snorted some and ate some. Didn't find much of a difference between teh two. So I stuck to eating em, as that's "easier"

 

the few times i got them i got the 60s and the blue 100's with some dillys. i tried snorting the ms once and i felt barely anything.

I didnt want the morphine to go to waste so i decided to try plugging it and it really wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. it worked pretty well too. i thought plugging would be fuckin sick but its pretty alright.

Yea, they may be, but it's pretty foolish if they are the pills that have that wax matrix. It just sorta gels up in your nose, and therefore, a lot of the morphine never makes proper contact with the mucous membrane and ends up just being absorbed in the stomach anyways. Atleast, that's how it was for me with the 100mg MsContins. That wax stuff is horrible (bastards).

Plugging these is probably the best way to go, though, I've never tried it to be fair.

 

^ I'm with the rest of the bunch on this one. I've snorted MS Contin and it's not bad.. it's a very peaceful and mellow feeling. If you mix it with oxycodone, it's great! Just keep your doses adjusted accordingly if you mix the two together. Dissolve it as much as you can in some warm-ish water after crushing it and squirt it up the bunghole! The bioavilability is better that way. I had some liquid injectable morphine that I did this way and got better results than when I skin popped it. Only did about 15 to 20mg at a time, with about 10mg of oxy and it was wonderful. I try to keep my tolerance low so I don't face horrid withdrawals and go through millions of dollars of pills!

I do prefer to snort Morphine, if it is 100mg's or higher.
MS-Contin, pop 'em like caps, mang.
I get the 60mg ones, and sniffing them sucks as stated above.
Swallow five of them, you won't be disappointed.. or dead.

Hmm I guess there's a reason why people always compare oxycodone with heroin, and not morphine.

 

Dude morphine is fun , you should buy some and try it out if your interested. Some people react differently to it, I have friends that don't feel shit from morphine, just feel allright and not sick. But for me, morphine is a beautiful substance, if you take enough I think its more euphoric than oxy. Sucks that you only have access to mscontins, I got those once and snorted them , it still worked. Why don't doctors prescribe the other morphines? Theres plently of them with no waxxy shit.

 

Because they don't want people to snort them obviously.

If I do end up getting some I'll probably plug them.

 

sorry, i've had 20mg kadians, which had the morhphine in pellets in a capsule, and i remember sniffing 35mgs and feeling almost as good as a good amount of times on heroin. it was unreal how good i felt, never felt NEARLY close to that off any other opiate besides h.

i dont know how some people are saying it sucks.

 

Yes I know this, but theres still plenty of different kinds of morphine to prescribe, and it seems like mscontin gets prescribed the most.

Also beatnick, I cant believe you got high from those kadians, those are like super -extended release, I got like 20 of those for 5 bucks a pop once, and it was really hard to get high from.

 

MS Contins and the ones with E on one side and 60 on the other are the only two I've had, and they are both awesome in my opinion.
The 60's of course, anything less is not really worth it.
This definitley appears to be the alkaloid that when taken orally, has the biggest split between those who love it and those who feel it worthless. Im of those who find it more euphoric than oxycontin, though Im apparently a very rare breed lol

Strange that morphine got you nearly as high as diacetylmorphine.....

Too bad there's not really any pure, easily accessible heroin.

 

How many should I get? Of the 60mg MSContins I mean. You know for a good night of fun. I don't really have tolerance. 60mg's of oxycodone is enough for me for a night of intense euphoria.

 

Knowing what I do about you from your posts here, Id suggest taking two, both orally, the second taken about an hour after the first.
You may get sick, but you wont die, and if the one doesnt do you any good, 2 should. If you dont feel the need to take the other after an hour, obviously, dont do it lol.

 

I wouldnt just pop it though , chew it up ( take wrapper off ), I'd start with 90 mgs, then wait an hour, snort the other 30 mgs. But yea def get 2, and you'll feel like your in heaven.

 

Aren't they unsnortable? Sheesh I bet I could waste a lot less of it by plugging it and having it go straight to my bloodstream instead of passing through metabolism and getting some of it destroyed.
