    hurt!
well, i didnt feel the surgery...but afterwards (and even now) freakin' hurts!
buuuuut, that's the turning point i've been needing.
no more migraines, no more dependence of medication that just numbs me, and no more suffering.
    thank the gods
for, without the creator, nothing would be possible.

A rear cranialectomy to remove the membrane walls and a cyst that was pushing against my brain, causing horrific migraines.
After that, they patched the skull with a thin layer of bone material, reattached the muscles on my neck, and then sutured the incision.
For two years I was dependent of opiates to function.
But, since the surgery...no migraines at all! =D

congrats!! I wish you luck with the lack of dependence and the freedom from migraines

when you say you are in pain from the surgery...does your brain hurt...like Im curious...
I realize this is a stupid question and you don't want to reflect on the pain, but if you feel up to it im curious what you are feelin post brain surgery

    Actually, not at all.
There is no pain in the brain.
There's no nerve endings for pain.
It's mostly my incision & neck.

I'm not 100% on the date.
    But about two weeks ago.
I was in the Intensive Care Unit for two days, and then in a regular room at the hospital for four days following that.
So, they sort of all blur together.

    And I intend to!
It's so odd...because of everything happening in my life, I've been out of work since HIGH SCHOOL!
I now have a new opportunity to start off using what I've learned.
    It's quite the chance!!
I've become more and more optimistic about life!
    I love it. =]
