finally broke down and got a cell phone

so i finally got myself a damn cell phone.
i really never wanted one haha

but it just makes my job easier.

but man, i don't feel true to myself anymore haha

first the suits, now the damn phone

I feel you on the cell phone. I never wanted one either but it became a bit of a necessity.

 

well, i don't really "need" it...it just makes it much easier when i have to call in to get the account number, instead of having to inconvenience the customer to use their desk or office phone

I had a job once that came with a cell phone and a suit requirement. I should have ran the second I saw the cell phone. I had co-dependent co-workers and clients that would call all evening and weekend long in "crisis"...not real crisis, just a constant need for attention. Screw that.

 

Good for you! now make sure you get people to text you and not call you; then they won't be interfering and you get the maxim info with the minimum bullshit plesentreys AND you get to think about your answers when you reply rather than be pined down.
