I have noticed I get blisters a lot less when I'm not wearing any shoes! and I can walk over tiny stones on tiles without my feet hurting like they did two weeks ago.. thats fast isn't it
I guess a good compromise are those foot ornament doo-dads that people like Arlia make. They give some style while still having bare soles on the ground. They probably trick establishments into thinking you're wearing sandals too. .
i used to all the time when i was younger, but since then my feet have gone soft =[ once i get my own place and get settled (in the place of my childhood no less) ill start up again.
Only when im in the house, Often theres alot of broken glass in my street, so if i do i have to be very careful
Here in scandinavia we have to wear something on our feets. Cause he is so fuc..ng cold. Id like to walk without shoes, sure but only in our short summers I can do it. So, You who can throw shoes away ,do it for me too, cause I cannot.
my feet LOVE the ground. it makes me feel tough to walk around barefoot, especiallly on gravel. but it helps me with my balance cuz when yer walking around with barefeet you have to be careful about how much pressure you put on one foot or the other. it's something to concentrate on and i like it.
i bought these "flip-flops" once at goodwill that had adhesive on them so you could just stick them to the bottom of yoir feet. i think they only lasted me a day though. it was still worth the $ .99
I hardly wear shoes....unfortunately I generally have to wear shoes to class, ...and my feet aren't tough enough to go for a long way, yet lol, but even then i cant wear anything but slippers or flip-flops, rather.
I go barefoot when i can, it gives another dimension to your environment, with shoes you just feel...shoes, but when you walk barefoot you feel the cold or warm floor, the grass, sand or even asphalt, I love it!
I too am a "barefooted' person....and sunglasses,I always wear sunglasses...No shoes and nice sunglasses..I guess that says alot doesnt it...
WHen I'm homeless and footing it everywhere I'll wear out a pair of shoes before I can get new ones. So yeah, but not on purpose because I dig flip-flops and tivas.
I do have a pair of really cool old worn out boots, sooo tech,Im not a 'barefooter' all the time...I dig the "flop" thing also(shoes but NOT)...
i am usually barefoot, if i am not working. i do get tired of the shoe police. i do not understand the big deal about a person being barefoot. i am known in my neighborhood as that "barefoot guy".
well the only reason businesses care is because you might step on something and sue the shit out of them....they dont want to deal with that.
