Aye it's true, that's a pretty awful picture of me, but to be fair, I wasn't posing and most of my attention was going towards correcting Claire's rather naughty behaviour....

I didn't even notice you taking any of these pictures, does anyone else think it's unfair that Andy and John can stay up almost all night being wasted and still look ok the next morning, Where the rest of us, well Ailsa and me manage to look like we just crawled out of the pub? Anyway, just to say that we didn't come meet you guys later in the pub because we needed some time together where she proposed Perfect end to a perfect weekend really. It was really nice to meet some people from here.
    love claire

I bet the speakers there didn't offer any alternative to ensure security in Iraq after allied troops are pulled out. It is all to easy to offer simple solutions like withdraw troops now. But you have got to analyse the situation and look at the consequences of that and consider all the alternatives.

Personally I can only think of one workable alternative which is to replace American and British troops with UN peace keepers. Most of whom should come from neighbouring arab countries so that they can gain the trust of the Iraqi people. Just pulling troops out and leaving Iraq to the Islamic extremists is not a good option at all.

Actually there were alternatives put forward, including a UN peacekeeping force and an all arab peacekeeping force ... however seeing as you weren't there its probably best not to assume anything.
