Tell me what you think of this little note I wrote a few days ago:

People are a lot like seeds. We need love and care from our Mother (Nature) from the beginning to sprout. Although we all start off as the same seed, we grow separate in form, but we all tend to grow toward the same light, sun, god, whatever (Even if we have different perspectives of it).

Some die early on, while others grow more than we could have ever imagined and they become deeply rooted and stable. Those that have withered away fall to the ground and sink back into the earth where they came from. There is a never ending cycle of birth and death, where death becomes an opportunity for new life to spring.

The larger a tree grows, the more it gives back to Mother Nature, by releasing fresh oxygen and sustaining a home for living creatures. Some trees transcend and begin to flower, creating a distinct beauty in the world, that can't be expressed with words. Words actually limit the true nature of whatever the word is attempting to explain.

The next time you go to a park or anywhere in nature, try not to think so much about one thing or another. Just be with the nature, in that moment. Feel the tremendous energy of the sun on your body, or the infinitely vast space in which our world exists. Close your eyes and listen to the hundreds of thousands of leaves brushing against each other, or the continuous flow of the creek, or even the mysterious silence. If there wasn't silence in the world, no sounds could exist anywhere. With no empty space, no form could exist. With no awareness, there would be no thought.

A lot of times we get too caught up in our thoughts that steer us off the rails of the truth. We should all take some time every now and then to notice the canvas on which our whole life is painted. The only thing in this world that doesn't come and go. The thing that we can't ever fully understand. Whatever it is that lets life and death happen, or whatever keeps time moving forward.

So just sit back, and let your ego, or the whole sense of who you think you are, be in the background for a minute. Let go of every memory and worry in your head. And just notice life as it is blossoming, right here and now. I like to notice the constant flow of breath that my body somehow knows to do by itself.

    Peace.

I like it, it reminds me of the Earth based fertility cults. I think humans moving into modern cities has been almost as bad for us as moving animals from the wild into cages. Some still do well, but others cannot take it. Being in nature, with nature is a very important part of life for humans imho. If you sit by a tree and really open yourself up, I think can learn wonderful things. Simply, as my friend sad, if you feel bad, go hug a tree. In qigong class we did a lot of work with trees, the energy they give off is similar to the way in which they absorb carbon-dioxide and give oxygen, we can give them the energy we've accumulated which is bad for us but is good for them, and we can take in the energy they give off, similar to exhaling, which is good for us.
