Strength of our dear friend L these days..

I guess this post is more of a rant but is it me or are nice strong hits of L becoming more and more scarce? My tripping heyday was in the late 80's/early 90's when I was in high school and most doses at the time were pretty friggin' potent! Microdots were extremely common and were more or less consistent in the potency department. There was always a chance of getting weakish blotter but it was pretty rare. L was also ridiculously cheap and easy to find, you didnt even have to look for it! Just go to the park and you'd have a multitude of characters swarming you asking if you wanted it. The usual dose at the time was 2 hits and that would have us tripping our faces off. In the years since, I would get some L on occasion and noticed that I would have to eat a substantial amount to really trip out. Like a few of the first time trippers here, I would be underwhelmed if i took 1 or 2 hits of the doses that are somewhat readily avalable today. Once in a blue moon, some nice quality L would find it's way into my system but it seems to be the exception and not the rule. So at least I know it's out there! LOL! Maybe I just dont know the right people anymore? You would think in the NYC area quality and availability wouldn't be a problem. Anyone else in the tri-state area have any views on this? Is it greed? Do the folks laying the sheets just want to make more $$$? Perhaps the situation is better on the west coast or abroad? Is it a geographical thing? What do you guys think?

well how would you describe a decently strong trip? like omg hella visuals!!, or just a general change in sight with occasional visuals?

generally a strong trip for me will have a change in sight with things looking more cartoony/plasticy, with occasional visuals, and absurd visuals at my peak, sometimes with a profound moment of connection with god.

seems plenty strong for me, although i guess i would never know any better, since ive gotten around the same potency all my life.

 

depends on where exactly you are at. I know for colorado we get bursts of acid and mushrooms and random times of the year. For acid, my friend sells some really bomb dose because he says he trips off it so why would he sell bunk acid? THe stuff I get from him usually makes me see spirals, good stuff.

 

Well.. I'd classify a a trip strong when I get intense visuals and a heightened sensitivity to sound. Regardless of dosage, i've never hallucinated on L as in seeing things that simply are not there. I have seen patterns (spirals, trails etc) and gotten to the point when i can see sound as colors and patterns. One thing i have noticed is that when i do come across strong doses they are usually at a festival. It seems to me that getting good L might be geographic as the good stuff seems to travel w/ shows! I can still enjoy low doses as i seem to get a profound mental clarity on lower doses just the same as during the comedown of an intense trip. In any case, it might just be a case of not knowing the right people anymore but everything i seem to come by locally on a regular basis isnt all that strong. Anyone else in the NYC area notice this?

yea i didn't mean seeing things that aren't there, but like things twisting and amputating slightly, or say something moving past you really fast and it feels as if everything is being sucked into the object...



i guess that by your definition acid is plenty strong around here. although it really depends on who you get it from. i know this one guy who always has some really good stuff, but i know this other guy who will sell stuff that has it's hits cut much smaller and are really alot less potent. the latter guy is in jail now though

 

LOL.. I didnt mean to imply you were talking about seeing things that arent there. I just wanted to throw that out there. Some people have unrealistic expectations of LSD and expect to see 3 headed elephants and angels.. That was never the case for me but i have seen really cool patterns and experienced 'seeing sound' as patterns and such. Unfortunately, i've also seen people cut 10 strips in half as you describe. When I see something like that, I just nicely pass on the offer. I guess my problem could simply be that i only know 2 people who have it on a fairly consistent basis. BTW, are you on the east or west coast Desos? It seems like all the quality stuff is out west from my observations..

 

its all just light. Like, if you trip and go to say a bathroom and shut the door when its dark out, turn the lights on, then turn them off real quick, its all just your eyes capturing the light but it doesn't get rid of it, it keeps it. I don't really know how to explain it. Tell you the truth seeing spirals kind of scares me....I mean, how does that even work?

i recently purchaced some of the most propper L I have had in a long time. Very cheap/very potent/very clean. Perhaps you are not looking in the right places.

o yeah and I am from the tristate area.

 

Nice! So at least I know it's around.. I guess i have to look a little harder! I've been getting it from the same guys for the past 16 years and it seems like it's been extremely hit or miss for the past decade. I'll have to seek out some new sources.. Thanks!

 

please excuse my ignorance but where is the tristate area? I'm in Hawaii so no acid here prper or otherwise...and I'm not familiar with that place.

Yeah i got some of the best ive ever had the other week, and ive had good lsd before. Its out there, sometimes it just takes a lot of searching to find a good reliable source.
