    Has anybody else read this? I am currently reading it. What is your opinion of it. I personally find it rather amusing, although it doesn't make much sense but its not meant to.

    I liked the book a lot. The illustrations were great too! John is quite a character!

    Yeah I have finished it, I thought it was really good I especially like the story that is a spoof of the secret seven. I agree with cantsmokenomore the pictures are really good.

    i have my mum's copy of it from when she was a kid. i first read it when i was 4. i loved the fact that the stories actually made sense to me.
    i loved his illustrations too!

    I remember reading this in high school. I thought it was hilarious.

    I also love John's other book,A Spaniard in the Works.They're great and I found them very amusing.You can see how he was influenced by Lewis Carroll and Spike Milligan.

    I´m currently reading it! Firstly I was confused but then find out how to read the book and it´s very funny stuff for me. Really love it. Can´t finish cos I need to read stories once again :)
    However I don´t think it´s absolutely without a sense. It looks like pretty good parody of mainstream stories and thinking. But I don´t want to look like those smart people who love to see message in every answer. Like Paul said ;)
