Hopefully it is still a month or two away.
I hate having to find a jacket, what a terrible chore.

I'm sat here in bed with gloves and a scarf on.. with the laptop on my lap.. letting it overheat to keep me warm!

whats up with the NONSurival skills.. buy some gloves.. Stretchy gloves cost a dollar and can break the chills on your hands..
I live in the counrty, If you didnt wear gloves to bed my hands would be really cold..
Cut off the finger tips and wear them too if you need your fingers..
Turtleneck scarfs.. helps keep the heat for escaping from your open neck. Wear a hat..

Buy a jumpsuit or diving suit or wetsuit. Wear it every day.

Eat lots of beans and rice. Generally eat a lot of fiber.

The resulting flatulence should warm you up nicely inside your new clothes.

A Thinsulate hat, a bomber jacket, a scarf, 3 pairs of thick socks (including at least 1 pair of knee high socks), a pair of thick baggy jeans, a pair of Thinsulate gloves. That should just about do it!
