This kind of blows my mind.

Must have been so hard for them.

    Robert Pershing Wadlow
(February 22, 1918July 15, 1940) is the tallest person in medical history for whom there is irrefutable evidence. He is often known as the "Alton Giant" because of his Alton, Illinois hometown. Wadlow was noted for having the largest and broadest hands ever in recorded history being capable to hide a 2-liter bottle of Coca Cola in them easily.
Wadlow reached 8 feet 11.1 inches (2.72 m)[1][2] in height and weighed 490 pounds (220 kg) at his death. His great size and his continued growth in adulthood was due to hypertrophy of his pituitary gland which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone. He showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of his death.

    You're right... Wow...
It must have been difficult especially for the tall woman in China. I mean, China is renowned for its small people...

The woman looks unreal. I can imagine her getting off that chair and stomping that other girl down to the ground with her huge feet.

It's actually kind of sad cause the get that tall because of some cell deformity that causes them to never stop growing. There was a article about the woman having a brain tumer and not being able to get into the car cause she was to heavey to not crush it/was scared she'd never be able to gget up again. Hard times.

dude, that would just suck. things are just not made to accommodate people of that size. i mean, dwarves and midgets have a hard time too, but at least they can fit into buildings ok.

and how could you ever have a sexual relationship with someone who has giantism? the logistics of it are a little scary.

my great grandfather lost a leg to a hunting accident resulting in gangrene.....when he was 16.

he went on to father a whole mess of kids. around 10, if i'm not mistaken. course not all of them survived (it was the old days, and he was a rural kentuckian...)

i could more easily see a sexual relationship with a really tall person than with someone with one leg:confused:

Heh. Died at age 22. Looks like he never outlived a world after the fall of Nazi Germany.

Oh, and I hope all his appendages were large.
