Here's how I always say it In west Philidalphea born and raised on the playground is where I spent most of my days Chillin out, maxin, relaxin all cool and all shootin some b-ball outside of the school, when a couple of guys who were up to no good Started makin trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "you're movin with your aunty and uncle in bel-air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license place said fresh and there was a dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I though, nah forget it, yo holmes, to bell-air! I pulled up to a house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, yo holmes, smell ya later! Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there, to sit on my throne, as the Prince of Bel-air
Lol, living in Honduras, I was the only one to watch those shows.... but I always perfered SNL and such, even from an early age... Saved by the Bell followed by the Fresh Prince after school on TBS, and then...the evening news followed by old SNL reruns on some channel... ahh...the good ol' days of still being 10.
I forgot! Now this is the story all about how my life got twist-turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute just sittin right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
there's another verse to that song, but they only played it when the episode was a new one which one hasn't been it a while
When I wake up in the morning And the alarm gives out a warning And I don't think I ever make it on time... By the time I grab my books And I give myself a look I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by!!! It's alright 'cuz I'm saved by the bell If the teacher pops a test I know I'm in a mess And my dog ate all my homework last night Right alone in my chair She won't know that I'm there If I can hand it in tomorrow it will be alright!!! It's alright 'cuz I'm saved by the bell It's alright 'cuz I'm saved by the It's alright 'cuz I'm saved by the It's alright 'cuz I'm saved by the bell Muahahahha..dig that early 90s beat....
I used to watch TGIF all the time. Snick too, if anybody remembers that. My mom would go to "the grocery store" right about the time they started, and come back right about the time they ended generally, w/o groceries.
