Last Saturday, my friend wanted to try some E. I was able to get some Pink Playboy's, although I was a bit hesitant to try them (look them up on pillreports and see why). We both just took one pill and when we started rolling, I received a scalp massage from one of my friends. She probably massaged it for a good 15 minutes. All of a sudden, I began getting the most painful headache! I think it might have been over stimulation or the fact that we had some dirty pills or a combination of the two. This never happened to me before and kind of scared me at the time but it eventually went away. After the effects wore off, I occasionally would get a sudden rush of pain in my head at random times of the day. I've been getting them every day since Saturday. I really hope these go away soon because the pain is excruciating. Anybody else have this happen to you?

Lol! Yea, I agree. Who knows what the hell is in those pills half the time.

However, I've noticed with some substances that I tend to get a pretty bad headache if I have not been drinking enough water recently. So sometimes, a nice big glass of water can do wonders for me.

I also have a lot of success with taking an NSAID like ibuprofen for most of the headaches I come across. If that doesn't work, I usually go for Excedrin next... either the acetaminophen or the caffeine in those will usually help. Of course, every now and then, I get one of those headaches where NOTHING helps. Ugh.

Just curious, but do these ever feel like "brain zaps" or like quick jolts of electricity through your brain? Or is it more like a normal headache as you described?

Yeah they're like what you described; a quick jolt that rushes to my head and usually last for a few minutes then subsides. Thanks for the tips by the way!

Brain zaps are extremely common in people who are withdrawing from SSRI's. Some people complain of them after MDMA use as well. I don't believe there is anything that can help these brain zaps, if that is indeed what you are experiencing, other than just probably staying away from mdma. For some people, they get so bad that they just stop using MDMA all together.

Here's a thread at bluelight where people discuss these brain zaps associated with MDMA and SSRI use:

This hasn't happened to me, but it sounds damn scary! Yikes! Actually, the last time I rolled I did get a regular headache, which surprised me cuz I've never felt any kind of pain while rolling before. Usually, no matter how shitty I'm feeling when I take it, after it kicks in I feel awesome. So this is disturbing. They need to make pure MDMA and make it legal to sell to responsible adults, then we wouldn't have to worry about crazy, harmful shit being put in it.

Stop taking bunk/meth rolls. You did the right thing by researching the pills, but then for some reason you still took them.

NSAIDS are good for those headaches, but don't overuse them. Those mostly mask the pain. You don't want to outright ignore your headaches.

Good luck in the future :cheers2:

EDIT: I also just realized the oldness of this thread

... The oldness? Its like only two weeks old. lol. :D

I can see adulterated pills being responsible for annoying headaches and such, depending on what they are cut with, but as far as brain zaps go I believe it is thought to be caused by the actual mdma in the pills. Since brainzaps often occur during SSRI withdrawl, they are thought to have something to do with sudden drop of seratonin, which would make sense for some people experiencing them after a roll as well.
