So I went to the Toronto rally today at Nathan Philips Square at City Hall downtown in support of a Progressive Coalition Government. I'm the one who says "And why aren't the Parliament doors open?" Enjoy: http://www.cbc.ca/clips/mov/saltzman rally-081206.mov
Well Done! Harper needs to be scared into behaving properly. I've had enough of his bullying the other parties and lying to Canadians. An ideal solution would be a coalition with him involved (ie. rep by pop?)... but fat chance, there's no way he would be able to continue pushing his neo-conservative policies into practice.
Not to bad by someone who is currently handicapped by a devastating cold ravaging my system as we speak. Oh well, my body will kick it's ass. Anyways, post more pics!!!
I don't like the idea of a coalition, but I think it is the lesser or two evils. Why are you guys opposed to it?
because it is the literal. LITERAL L-I-T-E-R-A-L road to tyrrany. I've lived through one. I dont want another. Now is a great time for action, not for buffoonery.
this is my virtual high five. not as effective or as pretty as a real life high five but i feel pretty good about it nonetheless.
Well tyranny means "cruel and oppressive government rule". It seems to me that this would be more likely occur through a leading group that is not subject to checks and balances. I don't believe that the coalition would have been proposed if it had not been for Harper's tyrannous proposals for fixing the economy. Furthermore, I believe the greatest tyranny is ignoring the state of the environment, especially in regards to global warming. The consequences of doing so are undeniably proven to be catastrophic, and not taking action is, indirectly, murder.
luckily, from this post, I know that you are an idiot. and so I don't care to respond in any other manner than this ... iggy:
I was trying to encourage polite discussion with regards to our opposing views. I have a 4.0 grade point average in university, though unfortunately not in political science: though I suppose the term 'idiot' can be subject to varied interpretation. You are very rude, but I suppose this is the direction in which most Canadians are headed.
i know your voice, so everything you type sounds just like you. can't be that you read like a dude. now i'm really concerned.
