You are really starting to see some real progress. Looks good. The next 6 months will be interesting to see how they lock up. About now I would expect them to start locking even faster and require even more ripping if you choose. If I were you, I would start to train yourself to wash your hair once a week. As your locks mature more, become more dense, they really don't require washing it that much. On top of that, with less washing your head produces less oil which will aid the process a long even more. I know this is a hard habit to break, but one I firmly believe is necessary. Either way you choose your locks are looking sweet.
They are locking up nice. Looks like they're locking normally too. From what I gather, they start in the middle and lock towards the roots/tips. Looks good!
Is that a good thing? My hair is naturally curly, not tight bounce back spiral curls just very curly like gel and scrunch curl. People often asked me if it was naturally curly and said how pretty it was. Could that explain the loopiness? Also I started out with 57 dreads and after combining some I have 42 (I think). Is unique good? I mean did you mean it in a good way?
are loops something that is more common in curly hair? i have a lot of loops and bumps in my smaller locks and i had curls.
yeah i meant unique in a good way lol the curlyness of your hair should explain the loops, but i can't say i have thick straight hair with a little wavyness
i wonder if it has anything to do with length? our hair looks about the same as do our dreads. my hair is straight and it is full of loops. Does yours have big clumps of flat loopy dreaded parts?
