hmm I dont know about that album...... too much filler, especially at the end. the first half rocks, but then it gets boring. I think that album is a bit overrated. I prefer to listen to The Who Sell Out.

Yeah, it's a close one for me. I would say that The Who Sell Out has better songs, but as a whole, I prefer Tommy. I'm not sure why, though. I guess I just love the way it flows. Of course Sell Out flows almost as nicely...

However, I don't think the album is overrated at all. Actually, I hardly hear anything good about it. Heh, in fact, not too long ago, Howard Stern was discussing it on his radio show. He said that he could never get into that "Tommy crap." :p

It seems to me that when anyone mentions The Who or one of their albums, it's always Who's Next. If any Who album is overrated, it's that one. In my opinion, A Quick One, The Who Sell Out, Tommy, Live at Leeds, and Quadrophenia are all better than Who's Next. I mean, I like "Baba O'Riley," "Bargain," and "Won't Get Fooled Again," but I'm not a fan of the other songs. Roger Daltrey's voice just doesn't fit. It sounds like he's straining...

    Oh well. I'm rambling.

    hmmmmm...favourite album??

Nightwish - century child ( i know i rant and rave abt this band all the time on the forums but i love them to bits and im just really listening to a lot of goth/ fantasy metal at the moment)

    or

Travis - any of their albums really...i like them all! What can i say? im scottish and they were the first band i liked properly. This was when i was like 8 or 9 when i first heard them, so they mean a lot to me. They cheer me up when im down without fail!
