Recently, my parents banned me from the computer for me visiting this website. I believe what they did was unfair, and child like. Just cause i speak my mind doesn't mean that i am as insane as the next person. I wish there was something i can do. I believe u guys to be my family, my real family. You guys are always there for me. and this lady His_Eden69 has guided me thru a few rough spots in my life

i bow down to all of you

but yea, in about 290 days, im leaving Levittown, and making a trec across the U.S to oregon.

Sometimes parents don't always do what makes sense. As a parent, you want to protect your children. Some parents are overprotective and smother the poor kid. Then there are those parents that let the kid have free reign and ignore the kid. It is difficult to stay in the middle all the time.

You parents banned you from this website because it likely contains material that they find objectionable. Yeah, it sucks for you I know. My parents did some pretty radical shit too, but as I got older I came to realize they were doing the best they could. It is hard for them to think outside of their box. So, try to bide your time, and realize they don't hate you or think you are crazy....they just don't understand because you don't think like they do.

    I am sorry
my mom put the parental locks on the computer when i was 17 because she looked in my search history and I had googled the current prices of pot (wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal). And just when they came off, my dad had to look at some porn and they came back on hahah

Even better: Download Google's Chrome browser, which has an "incognito window" (aka porn mode). You can visit wherever you like and when you close that window, that session disappears without a trace - but everything else stays, so it's not totally obvious that you cleared the history.

Next version of Firefox will have porn mode, too.

    Haha. What a fantastic idea.

As for the aforementioned dilemma, it would seem that your parents are a little conservative and are afraid of you becoming "a damn hippie" when there is nothing damn about it. I say, go with your instincts. You might grow out of the whole thing, but you'll no doubt look back on the time gladly. Unless something goes wrong, like you eat some bad berries like Into the Wild. Just make sure you'll well prepared for stuff. It sounds like a cool life. I'd probably do it if I didn't have a girlfriend tying me to the one spot. Not that that's a bad thing. I do love her. Okay, I hope that advice was helpful.
